After all the joy of the reunion, I must share with you the loss of a member of the class, Oliver “Buddy” Hancock, June 5, 2012.

Please remember also, Harry Golden’s family.  His sister, Elaine (class of 1964) lost one of her twin sons on May 31.

What a wonderful time we had at the 50th Reunion of the ECHS Class of 1962.  There were 123 people in attendance, including Coaches Baker, Havird and Singleton and Mrs. Beverly Ozburn.  How wonderful to have them there and have them share their thoughts and reflections of Eau Claire with us.

The group included 73 graduates of the class out of the 200 who graduated.  Twenty-three are no longer with us and there are some for whom we still have no current information, so we had about half of those with whom we are in contact.   A number of people had previous commitments and could not make it.

We are all so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful group with the memories that we all share of Eau Claire and our days and times there and the opportunity to be together for these reunions has meant so much to everyone.  The evening passes too quickly and there isn’t enough time to visits with everyone who is there.

Thank goodness for the Internet and the web so that we can continue to share our lives even though the miles and distances separate us.
